India’s public service broadcaster Prasar Bharati has announced a fresh recruitment drive for the post of Marketing Executive. Interested and eligible candidates can now apply online through the official website prasarbharati.gov.in.
This recruitment aims to fill positions at Doordarshan Kendras (DDK), All India Radio (Akashvani), and Commercial Broadcasting Service (CBS) across several cities including Raipur, Jalandhar, Patna, Mumbai, Bhopal, Ranchi, and others. Candidates have 15 days from the date of notification to submit their applications.
Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Marketing Executive position, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- MBA or PG Diploma in Management/Marketing from a recognized university or management institute
- Minimum 1 year of work experience
- Preference will be given to candidates with direct sales experience in the media sector
- Maximum age limit: 35 years, as per the notification date
Terms and Conditions of Appointment
- The appointment will be purely on a contractual basis
- This is not a permanent post, and no claim for regularization will be entertained
- Selected candidates must work full-time and cannot take up any other job during the contract period
- Additional duties may be assigned as per organizational requirements
- Initial contract will be for 2 years, extendable based on annual performance review
- Either party can terminate the contract by giving one month’s notice or one month’s salary
- There will be no pension or retirement benefits
- The selection process (test/interview) will be conducted at Prasar Bharati’s discretion
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process
Salary Structure for Marketing Executives
The monthly remuneration will be decided based on experience, previous salary, and overall suitability of the candidate.
- Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai & Kolkata: ₹35,000 – ₹50,000 per month (Negotiable)
- Other cities: ₹35,000 – ₹42,000 per month
